He is survived by: his wife Sue Ellen Heard; his daughter Robin Eve Rushing; his siblings, Vance Ovie Nutt and Evie Corine Gates; his brother-in-law John Wayne Heard; his friend Maverick; and his nephews, Bryan, Fletcher and Landon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
