It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Norfleet Hill of Lonoke, Arkansas, who passed away on July 19, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Velma Ruth Staton Hill; his brother Randy Hill; his stepdaughter Kelly Eagle McGehee; his brother-in-law Carter Moore; his nephew Curt Moore; and his grandson Pierce Leo Meeks.
He is survived by: his father Norfleet "Ted" Hill; his wife Sandra Lee Eagle Hill; his children, Abby Smith (Richard), Anell Meeks (Blake) and Lance Hill (Marla); his grandchildren, Grant Smith (Brooke), Logan Smith (Tabor), Preston Meeks (Bailey), Addie Leigh Meeks and Elizabeth Jane Hill; his great grandchildren, Haper and Alice Meeks; and his siblings, Janet Moore and James "Tuffy" Hill (Dawne). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, family and friends.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hopedale Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brownsville Baptist Church (44 Watson Ln, Lonoke, AR 72086).
