Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Kendell for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Wayne Simpson and Barbara Simpson (Vanhook); and his nephew Jeremy Wayne Penix. He is survived by: his sons, Marshall McCann of Sherwood and Bryce Simpson of Ohio; his sisters, Denise Knoff of Lonoke and Deanna Hardin (John) of Morgan, Arkansas; and his former wife Donna Simpson of Sherwood, Arkansas.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the State Funeral Service (2620 W Main St, Jacksonville, AR 72076). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
