We announce the death of Mary Jane Smith of Lonoke, Arkansas, who passed away on October 5, 2026, at the age of 87. Mary Jane will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Dwight Morrison and Essie Margie Bass Morrison; her husband Thomas Dewitt Smith; and her siblings, Martha Jean Justice, Linda June Moody and Carl Allen Morrison.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark Allen Davidson (Vickie), Joe Monroe Davidson (Angela) and Kyle Keith Davidson; and her siblings, Shirley Lee McDougal (Jack), Margaret Evelyn Suggs and Eddie J. Morrison. She is also survived by 5 Granddaughters; 10 great Grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Boyd Funeral Home (207 E 2nd St, Lonoke, AR 72086). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:45 AM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens (1590 US-70, Lonoke, AR 72086).
