Mildred Violet Rhoads Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Violet Rhoads of Lonoke, Arkansas, who passed away on July 3, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Mildred may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mildred touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha Lena Schineman and William Perry Kistner; and her sisters, Ada, Evelyn, Dorothy, Nina, Frances and Alice.
She is survived by: her husband John Marshall Rhoads; her daughter Roxane Elaine Smith (Phillip); and her grandchildren, Matthew Alexander Tackett, Benjamin Tackett and Jennifer Lauren Tackett.
