With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Walter Messig of Lonoke, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 4, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Robert Walter shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Robert Walter farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert George and Laverne Clara Messig (Weckworth); and his brothers, Richard and Gary Messig. He is survived by: his son Robert A. Messig (Geneise); his granddaughter Halie Frederick; and his great grandchild Silas Frederick. He is also survived by extended family and many, many friends.
