She was predeceased by: her parents, William Edward and Ines Robertson Whitley; her husband Carroll Fielding; her children, Bernard Dwayne Fielding and Gwyn Gregory; her siblings, Robert "Bob" Whitley, Frederick "Lee" Whitley, Reba Kruger and Janie Waldrep; and her grandson Dustin Parsons.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janice Lane, Shelia Parsons (Corbett Phillips), Judith Valentine and Sona Helmick (Randy); her son-in-law James Gregory; and her sister Sharon Williams. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
