He is survived by: his wife Diane; his siblings, Richard Hite (Renne), Yolonda Moll (Randy), Phillip Pfortmiller and Mathew Pfortmiller; and his children, Chad Pfortmiller (Amy), Darcy Pfortmiller, Annalise Rafferty (Sean), Julie Queen, Micah Pfortmiller, Kristy Lenker (Chad), Katie James (John), Jesse Pfortmiller (Stephanie) and Michelle Pfortmiller. He is also survived by twenty-seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Grace Lutheran Church (415 N 6th Pl, Lowell, AR 72745). A graveside service was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lutheran Cemetery.
