It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Arthur Lee Watkins of Luxora, Arkansas, who passed away on March 19, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Watkins, Sr. and Annie Smith; and his siblings, L. C. Smith Sr., Calvin Watkins, Alvin Watkins, Eddie Watkins, John Watkins, Jr. and Benda Sims.

He is survived by: his children, Carlos Woods (Tiffany) of Osceola, Arthur Watkins of Phoenix, Arizona, Sonda Mosley (Julian) of Jonesboro and Trina Watkins (Bryan Jackson) of Jonesboro; and his siblings, Robert Watkins (Alice) of Luxora, Clarence Smith of Luxora, Carl Hall of Luxora, Don Smith of Luxora, Johnny Hall, Sr. of Jonesboro, Terry Watkins (Vanessa) of Osceola and Donna Newmy (Jerome) of Blytheville. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
