She was predeceased by: her father Earnest Elrod; and her siblings, Jerry Elrod and Susan Kimery. She is survived by: her mother Rose Davis Elrod of Mayflower; her husband Bobby Hice Jr. of Luxora; her children, Jimmy Hice Sr. (Ashton) of Burdette, Jackie Hice (April) of Luxora and Jamie Hice of Luxora; and her siblings, Charles Elrod of Osceola, Norma Jane Truelove (Johnny) of Lepanto and Judy Jennings of Tennessee. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
