He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley O. Cox and Sarah B. Cox (Warner). He is survived by: his wife Pamela; his granddaughter Marsha Smith (Ricky) of De Queen; his son Terry Cox of De Queen; and his sister Julia Reed of Searcy. He is also survived by five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and a host of extended family and many friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Pinecrest Funeral Home (7401 Hwy 5 N, Alexander, AR 72002). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
