With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Steve Hix of Mabelvale, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 26, 2026 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley Hix and Marie Hix. He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann; his children, Jennifer A. Hardin (Aaron) of Little Rock, Jordan S. Hix (Kelcey) of Connecticut and Courtney M. Martinez (Daniel) of Little Rock; his brothers, Dennis Hix (Betty) of Greenwood, AR and Charley Hix Jr. (Pam) of Batesville, AR; his grandchildren, John Anthony Ostie of Mabelvale, Hudson, Jude, Nolan Hix of Connecticut, Graham, Lincoln and Caroline Martinez of Little Rock; his sister-in-law Shirley Manning; and his nieces and nephews, Hamiltons, Pistorius, Robersons, Walters and Hydes.
