He was predeceased by : his wife Wilma "Billie" Sims; his parents, James Sims and Mary Sims; his son Roy Sims; and his grandsons, Paul Sims and Randy Sims.
He is survived by : his sons, Ronny Sims (Karren) of New Braunfels and Larry Sims (Sue) of Booneville, Arkansas; and his daughter-in-law Carla Sims of Magazine, Arkansas. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren; and other family and friends.
