With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Ruth Phillips Murray of Magazine, Arkansas, born in Booneville, Arkansas, who passed away on May 9, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Melvin Phillips and Mattie Phillips; her husband David Murray; and her siblings, Guy Phillips, John Phillips, Billy Wayne "Jake" Phillips and Mary Sue Sharber.

She is survived by : her daughter Elizabeth DeWald (Russ) of Hanover, Pennsylvania; her siblings, George Allen Phillips (Jackie) of Bullhead City, Arizona and Joyce Smith of Booneville, Arkansas; and her grandchildren, Katherine DeWald, Drake DeWald and Erin DeWald. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
