We announce the death of Mildred Pauline Castillo of Magazine, Arkansas, born in Booneville, Arkansas, who passed away on July 4, 2026, at the age of 91. Mildred will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Kelly Castillo; her parents, Bernie Taylor and Ester Taylor; and her brothers, Alfred Taylor, Clinton Taylor and Kenneth Taylor.

She is survived by: her children, Ray Castillo (Debbie) of Palmdale, California, Kathy Castillo of Magazine and Carole Campbell (Darrel) of Pleasant Valley, Missouri; her siblings, Tommy Taylor of Magazine, Arkansas and Betty Hilton of Dunbar, Oklahoma; her aunt Lillian Bangs of Booneville, Arkansas; and her grandchildren, Ralph, Shell, Desiree, Patrick, Paul (Ashlie), Dylan (Bayli) and Eric (Emily). She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Booneville Animal Shelter or American Cancer Society.
