He was predeceased by: his parents, J. R. Ainsworth and Minnie Ainsworth; his wife Dean Dulaney Ainsworth; his siblings, Eskel Ainsworth and Evelyn Hughes; and his granddaughter Leah Rotramel.
He is survived by: his children, Rachel (Garry Wood), Martey Ainsworth, Viola Ainsworth, Robin (Brian Lowrie), Katrina (Shawne Rotramel) and J. R. Ainsworth (Theresa); his grandchildren, Ashton, Tasha (Tommy), Michael (Faye), Jordan (Russell), Sterling (Sarah), Laynce, Austin, Daniel, Philip, Aimee (Clint), Carly of Andrew, T. J. and Kaden; and his great grandchildren, Drew, Yuriana, Christopher, Cameron, Jason, Avery, Georgen, Reagan, Alyse, Allie, Kinzley, Dean, Charlotte, Olivia and River.
