He was predeceased by: his mother Margarette Ainsworth Hollensworth; and his siblings, William Don "Butch" Hollensworth, Yvonne Romine and Rexine Walthall. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Gunnels Hollensworth; his sons, Mike Hollensworth (Jan) of Waldo and Scott Hollensworth of Benton, Arkansas.; his grandchildren, Lilli Jones (Morgan) of Hot Springs, Steven Hollensworth of Magnolia, Justin Hollensworth (Kasey) of Hot Springs and Henry Hollensworth (Erin) of Russellville; his great grandchildren, Hudson Hollensworth, Sawyer Hollensworth of Magnolia and Miles Jones of Hot Springs; his sister Alicia Johnson (Ronnie) of Jacksonville, TX; and his siblings-in-law, David Gunnels (Linda) of Wills Point, Texas and Jane Derrick of Sunnyvale. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
