She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest McBride and Vera Easter; her spouse Abrom "Pete" McElroy; her son James Zell Hunter; her stepdaughters, Beatrice Ewing and Lois James; and her siblings, Jimmy Easter and Ruby Manning.
She is survived by: her children, Willie A Hunter, Arthur L Hunter, Shirley Berry and Marquite Thorpe. She is also survived by grandchildren; and great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Henderson's Mortuary & Burial (614 Calhoun Rd, Magnolia, AR 71753). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Henderson Mortuary Chapel (614 Calhoun Rd, Magnolia, AR 71753).
