It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred T. Smith (Magnolia, Arkansas), born in Hope, Arkansas, who passed away on February 29, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert Almer and Cora Smith (England); his grandson Derek "Bundy" Smith; his son-in-law David Ehrhardt; and his siblings, Elmer, Howard, James, Rufus, Tommy, Charlie, Alfred Ray Smith, Mildred Middlebrooks and Virginia Mendenhall.
He is survived by : his nephew Carl Smith; his wife Mary A. Jackson Smith of Magnolia; his children, Tammy Caskey (Jerry), Penny Ehrhardt of Hope, Terry Smith (Sharon) of Magnolia and Julia Almand (Darren) of Texarkana; his grandchildren, Daniel Collier (Erica) of Stamps, Melissa Ehrhardt of Titusville, FL, Amy Smith of Magnolia, Jerred Caskey (Meghan) of Burleson, TX, C. T. Almand (Tara) of Waldo, Kaci Myers (Travis) of McNeil, Clint Almand (Amanda) of Texarkana, Mary C. Langley (Jeremy) of Emerson and Cassie Lowe (Justin) of Magnolia; his daughter Laura Caskey of Godley, Texas; his sisters, Geneva Bowlin of Conway and Marie Harris of Texarkana, TX; his granddaughter Crystal Brock of Emerson; and his close friends, Pat Simmons, Keisha McKinney of Waldo and Marie Marquez of Hope. He is also survived by twenty four great grandchildren; thirteen great-great grandchildren.
