It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary W. Franklin of Magnolia, Arkansas, born in Ruston, Louisiana, who passed away on April 25, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Mark and Edna Orena Franklin (Franklin); his wife Lois Elaine Franklin (Hammons); and his brothers, Richard Franklin (Betty) and David Franklin.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Ellen Green (Daniel) of Magnolia, AR, Meredith Franklin of New York City, NY and Scott Franklin (Staci) of Little Rock, AR; his grandchildren, Braden Green and Makenzie Taylor (Lathon) of Magnolia, AR; his brother Durwood (Cindy); his sister-in-law Pat Franklin; and his friends, Tom and Judy Pearson of Magnolia, AR. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, extended family.
