With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy Chester Barnes of Magnolia, Arkansas, born in Emerson, Arkansas, who passed away on April 9, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Chester Curtis Barnes; his daughter LaTieasha Cooper; and his siblings, Theodore Barnes and Aire Lee Barnes. He is survived by : his mother Darlene Sanford Barnes; his wife April Brown Barnes; his children, Tyrone Barnes of Texas and Jacqueline Johnson of Louisiana; his grandchildren, Tyone Barnes, Kaearrion Cooper, Korayona Ross and Koryia Turner; and his siblings, Elvis Ray Barnes of Magnolia, Ronald Wayne Barnes of Mississippi, Katherine Critton (Nazaree) and Glenda Barnes of Magnolia. He is also survived by his family and friends.
