She was predeceased by: her parents, Mollie Burchfield and Thomas Burchfield; her husband Billy Hugh Emerson; her son Barry; and her siblings, Warren Burchfield, Eldridge Burchfield (Bo), Florence Godwin and Clara Langley.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Emerson (Pam) of Taylor, Arkansas and Gay Lewis (Rickey) of Gladewater, Texas; and her grandchildren, Tama Carter (Chris), Mindy Howe (Chris), Concetta Murphy (Charlie), Andy Emerson, Crystal Hargraves (Jake), Molly Riley (J. D.), Misty Coker (Steve) and Katy Bradford (Jan Michael). She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.
