He was predeceased by : his mother Doris Faye Torres (Alexander); his son Major James "Bull" Torres; his sister Elizabeth "Liz" Brehman; and his nieces, Catrina Smith (Paul) and Monda Nelson (Spence) of Lake Charles, LA.

He is survived by : his wife Kathy Torres of Emerson; his son Phillip Torres (Little Rock); his father Frank Edward Torres, Jr. of Natchitoches, LA; his siblings, Carol Moore (Winston) of Houston, TX and Frank Edward Torres, III (Raquel) of DeQuincy, LA; his grandchildren, Colton Torres and Cayiene Torres of Sunset, LA; his daughter-in-law Karsa Torres of Bossier City, LA; his nephews, Frand Edward Torres, IV of Texas City, TX, Tom Ham of Tamp, FL and Randy Walker of Louisiana; his uncle Derrick "Dick"; and his aunt Hilda Alexander of Dayton, TX. He is also survived by extended family and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. (420 N Jackson, Magnolia, AR 71753). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
