He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmie Willis and Littie Anna Willis (Bowdry); and his siblings, Henry Lee (Butterine), John Allen, Lewis Hill, Robert, Ben Adam, James, Sevella (Johnny Ross) and Pauline.
He is survived by: his nephews, Robert Lee "LeeLee" Willis Jr. and Antonio Willis; his cousin Sal Bowdry; his son Curtis Leon Jr.; his cousin Reverend Boston Bowdry Jr.; his wife Johnnie Mae; his siblings, Jimmie Willis Jr. (Hattie Mae) and Rosie Wright (Tommy); his siblings-in-law, Jerome, Ralph, Joe Owens, Annie Jean Ellis and Jeanette Singleton; his children, Destiny Willis and Christopher Willis; his stepson Wesley Murdock (Carla); and his grandchildren, Clayton Zion Willis, Cy'rhia Queen Willis and Enzo Willis. He is also survived by six step-grandchildren; three bonus love grandchildren; ten step-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
