He was predeceased by: his parents, Coy Tinsley, and Iva Tinsley, Sr.; his wife Nadine Tinsley; and his stepsons, Gary Calhoun and Danny Calhoun.
He is survived by: his daughters, Nina Johnson (Lynn) of Bauxite and Dianne Phelps (Robert) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and his siblings, James Tinsley of Oklahoma, John Tinsley of El Dorado, Arkansas, Charlotte Laster of Malvern and Jane Dickson of Maumelle, Arkansas. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and many friends.
