She was predeceased by: her parents, James Emuel and Annie Mae Shinn (Hughes); her husband Tommy Korwes; her grandchild Kaemon Franklin; and her siblings, James Troy Shinn and Judy Kay Linam.

She is survived by: her children, Beth Annas (Bryan) of Malvern, Christy Franklin (Juno) of Oklahoma City, OK and Sean Threadgill of Hot Springs; her siblings, Mickey Shinn (Judith) of Magnet Cove and Shirley Daniel of Magnet Cove; her grandchildren, Alix, Catelyn Threadgill, Juno Franklin, Kraig Franklin, Jionni Franklin, Easton Threadgill and Sienna Threadgill; and her great grandchildren, Khalil and Zera. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Magnet Cove Missionary Baptist Church.
