She was predeceased by: her parents, John Brooks and Ruth Brooks; her husband Bobby McWhirter; and her siblings, E. J. Brooks, Harvey Brooks, Chester Brooks, Earl Brooks, Earnest Brooks, Edith Morke, Elsie O'Neil and Edilee Brooks.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sherrie Jones (Ricky), Carolyn McWhirter Clark (Myron) and Melody "Hootie" Baker (Tommy); her grandchildren, Shannon Partee, Jessie Davis, Dylan Heitman, Jake Baker (Vera) and Brittany Clark; and her great grandchildren, Lucas Clark, Kasey Monte, Vincent Baker, Zaylee Monte, Violet Baker, Bobby Partee and Trey Partee.
