She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Ashley and Frances Ashley (Cates); her husband Lloyd Seward; and her children, Floyd Gilbert Seward, Onita Margaret Marlowe and Eldredge Clayton Seward.

She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Katherine Seward. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
