He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda Whitley; his parents, Guy Whitley and Rellie Whitley; and his siblings, Dean, Lyndle, Milton, Bernice Smith, Charlotte Francis, Delphine Wright and Earnestine Franklin.
He is survived by: his children, Dylan Whitley, Linda Tillman (Michael) and LaDonna Loftis; his grandchildren, Michelle, Haylee, Autumn, Rianna and Christian; and his siblings, Marlon Whitley (Earlene) and Earlene Phillips.
