John R. Ragsdale Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on August 12, 2023, at the age of 85, John R. Ragsdale of Malvern, Arkansas, born in DeWitt, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, A. J. Ragsdale and Rachel Crowder Ragsdale; his former wife Betty Jane Gavin Ragsdale; his daughter Phyllis Jackson; and his grandson Dustin Harris.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Vines Ragsdale; his children, John "Ricky" Ragsdale, Jr. (Teresa) of Little Rock, Lisa Beebe (Tom) of Bentonville, Darlene Gregory of Jonesboro and Sherry Ergle (Rex) of Sikeston, Missouri; and his brother Vernon Leon "Pete" Ragsdale of DeWitt. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
