He was predeceased by: his parents, Judson Bruce and Eva Mae Tully Batts; his siblings, Alma Eva Batts and Little Bruce Batts; his former wife Katherine Battaglini Batts; his wife Cathy Tapley Batts; and his son Duane Battaglini.
He is survived by: his son Raymond Battaglini (Belinda); his siblings, Anne M. Bell and James E. Batts; his grandchildren, Sherry Griego (John), Raymond Battaglini (Kris), Denise Stephenson (James), Jamie Battaglini and Richard Battaglini; and his stepsons, Richard Tapley, Robert Tapley, Stanley Tapley and Harold Tapley. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
