She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Tankersley and Euna Siratt Tankersley; her husband Bud Whatley; her son-in-law Jim Smith; her grandson David Smith; her grandson-in-law Brick Ables; her great grandchild Steven Smith; and her siblings, Kenneth Wayne Tankersley, Velma Harris and Louise Scott.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Whatley (Peggy) of Lono and Myra Smith of Glen Rose; and her grandchildren, Robert Smith (Stacy) of Benton, Jerry Smith (Amy) of Glen Rose, Jenny Lanier (Mike) of Lono, T. J and Stacy Marie Smith of Marion, Arkansas. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren, three step great-grandchildren, two great-great granddaughters, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
