It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Olen Sims of Malvern, Arkansas, who passed away on December 7, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Olen Sims to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Sims and Elizabeth Threet Sims; his wife Odie "Judy" Marie Brooks Sims; his daughter Linda Jones; his siblings, Curtis, Lonard, Nellie, Willie, Eunice and Margie; and his son-in-law Ronnie Finkbeiner.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Sims (JoJo) of Hot Springs and Debbie Finkbeiner of Benton; his son-in-law Randy Jones; his grandchildren, Deana Henningsen, Shelly Clift (Eddie), Rhonda O'Neal (Bryan), Carla Ellis (Chuck), Tiffany Gibson (Chris), Scott Finkbeiner (Erica), Brenna Bray and Aubree Sims; and his great grandchildren, Tyler (Mikayla), Victoria, Keeleigh (Trey), Connor, Olivia, Kaitlyn, Hayley, Blake, Noah, Nick and Heaven. He is also survived by four great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
