He was predeceased by : his parents, Virgil Buttrum and Alice Knox. He is survived by : his siblings, Wanda, Trina, Belinda, Kay and Tracy; his son Jeremiah (Brittany); and his pet Fred.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Gross Funeral Home (120 Wrights St, Hot Springs, AR 71913). A graveside service was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 at the Howton Cemetery.
