He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Jackson Strauss and Kathryn Heath Strauss. He is survived by: his brother John Anthony "Tony" Strauss of Malvern; and his cousins, Scott Strauss, Ed Strauss, IV, Linda Watson, Danny Watson, Betty Teague, Greg Thornton, Margaret Fleming and Susan Payne.
