She was predeceased by : her parents, Curtis Melvin Griffin and Nora Lee Spears Griffin (Elmer Herbert Warford); and her siblings, Johnny Griffin, Hollis Griffin and Ella Mae Griffin.

She is survived by : her daughter Renee Edwards; and her brother Arless Griffin. She is also survived by four grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
