He was predeceased by: his parents, William Franklin and Mary Elenora Wylie (Burruss); and his sister Carroll Adams. He is survived by: his wife Debra Wylie; his children, Leigh Ann Wylie of Fayetteville, Ember Johnson of Glen Rose, Brittany Clardy (Matthew) of Glen Rose, Michael Paul Wylie (Carie) of Rogers and Jason Knight (Dani Lee) of Little Rock; and his siblings, James Wylie (Sandy) of Alexander, Cheryl Walker (David) of Boyd, TX and Janice Connor (Joe) of Nashville, TN. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
