He is survived by: his wife Brenda Defoe McComas; his daughters, Esther (Fredie Hatfield), Tabetha Rea (David Pifher) and Rebekah (Richard Gage); his siblings, Nellie Brown, Frank McComas and Mark McComas; and his daughter-in-law Tiffany McComas. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
