He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Dickey and Fern Coyle Dunlop; his brother Dennis Dickey; his half-siblings, Judy McKnight, Jennie Dunlop, John Dunlop and Jim Dunlop; and his stepdaughter Melissa Morgan.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Dickey; his children, Samuel Milton Dickey Jr., Lisa Marie Armstrong, Jeri Lynn Slarrow and Jessie Wayne Dickey; and his stepdaughter Michelle Jacobsen. He is also survived by four grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Flint Cemetery of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas (131 Saddle Mill Ln, Mammoth Spring, AR 72554).
