Billy Wayne Grubbs Obituary
Billy Wayne Grubbs, age 90, of Manila, Arkansas passed away on October 10, 2026 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born on May 10, 1936 in New Albany, Mississippi to William Thomas Grubbs and Lillian (Smithey) Grubbs. Billy was of the Baptist Faith. He worked for the State Highway Department for 25 years. He enjoyed gardening, raising chickens, woodworking, and spending time with family.
Survivors include; loving wife of 18 years; Mary Grubbs of the home; three grandchildren: Haley Grubbs, Amanda Wilson (John), Douglas Edge; three step grandchildren, five great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by; his parents: William Thomas Grubbs and Lillian (Smithey) Grubbs; late wife of 51 years: Elsie Grubbs; three children: Troy Wayne Grubbs, Danny Jean Grubbs, Carolyn Edge; and one brother: Edward Grubbs.
Those to serve as pallbearers will be Allan Underwood, Casey Springer, Robert Clayton, Todd Warhurst, Zac Bynum, and John Wilson. Honorary pallbearers will be Audie Gann, Kerin Walls, and Douglas Edge.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at Manila Cemetery in Manila, Arkansas with Greg Stull officiating under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
