Jackie Wayne Britt, age 53, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday morning, September 26, 2026, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born on December 4, 1972, Jackie proved to be a true warrior from his very first days, facing lifelong health struggles and numerous hospitalizations with an undeniable strength and a gentle spirit that inspired everyone who knew him.
Jackie was a man who found immense joy in life's simpler pleasures. He was an avid fan of football and basketball, passionately cheering on his beloved Denver Broncos and the Arkansas Razorbacks. He loved the quiet peace of casting a line while fishing, tinkering and working on golf carts, and spending his days driving around with his absolute pride and joy-his faithful baby boy dog, Debow.
Above all, Jackie loved his family. He is survived by his devoted longtime girlfriend, Teresa of the home, alongside the children and grandchildren they shared together, whom he absolutely adored. He leaves behind his loving sister, Raven; his brother, Danny (and wife Lacherisa); a dear aunt, Marie of the home; and a large legacy of family including his nephews, Dawson, Joshua, Aaron, Logan, Brandon, Nicholas, Cameron, and Austin; his nieces, Madisen, Hannah, Kristian, Ella, Emmy, Abbey, Lizzy, and Makayla; as well as many cherished great-nieces and great-nephews.
Jackie was preceded in death by his beloved mother, his oldest brother, Chris, his sweet baby niece, Emily, and a host of dear friends and extended family members who are waiting to welcome him into perfect peace. Though our hearts are heavy with his passing, we take comfort in knowing that his paralysis and pain are gone, and he is finally standing tall, running free, and casting his line in paradise.
Instead of a formal service, we are gathering close to home to share our favorite stories, laugh about the good times, and lean on one another as we say our final goodbyes. The service will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026 at 12:00 pm at Jackies home. We look forward to sharing these beautiful memories of Jackie with all of you.
