Kara Lynn Johnson Obituary

Kara Lynn Johnson, age 31, passed away on September 4, 2026 at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital. She was born on December 12, 1994 in Kennett, Missouri to Keith Johnson, Sr. and Teresa (Lizenbee) Potter. Kara was a member of the First Church in Kennett, Missouri for over 25 years. She enjoyed reading, doing crafts, and spending time with family.

Survivors included; her father: Keith Johnson (Michelle) of the home; her mother: Teresa Potter of Doniphan, Missouri; one brother: Kevin Johnson of Kennett, Missouri; two sisters: Alayna Johnson and Haddie Johnson of the home; Nana: Sandy Smith of Kennett, Missouri: Pawpaw: Bud Shipman (Pam) of Holcomb, Missouri; and a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by; her grandparents: Bobby Lee Johnson, Earl Smith, Doyne Glass (Deloris) and Ronald Massey; her grandmother: Darla Massey; one brother: Keith Albert Johnson, Jr.; one uncle: Rickey Lee Johnson; and one aunt: Ashley Moses.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at First Church in Kennett, Missouri at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Donald Sheerin officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church from 9:30 A.M. until service time. Interment will follow at Woodland Heights cemetery in Rector, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
