She was predeceased by: her parents, William McGrew and Elva Mae Mayben McGrew; her husbands, Glen George and Bernard Crouse; and her siblings, Carol Yarbro, Laverne Shipley, Anita McGrew, W. H. McGrew, Jerry McGrew, Harold McGrew and Eugene McGrew.

She is survived by: her children, Chris George and Teresa George Hodges; her brother Dale McGrew; and her grandchildren, Brandon Ray Bryant (Lori), Tara Rae Ann Swartz (Chris), Sidney George, Geoffery George, Brian Amick (Rhonda) and Jessica Amick. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
