It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Louise Modesitt of Manila, Arkansas, who passed away on May 16, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Nancy Louise may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Nancy Louise touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Dean Modesitt; and her son Terry Modesitt. She is survived by: her children, Gary Modesitt of Manila and Sherry Scoggins (Paul) of Manila; her siblings, John Parsley (Mary) of Manila and Betty Byrd of Manila; her grandchildren, Ryan Scoggins (Julie), Cortnee Williams (Preston), Tiffany Modesitt and Paul Keith Rabey (Holly); her nephew Tim Edwards of Manila; her aunt Faye Russell Walker of Manila; and her cousin Joni Isebell. She is also survived by family Nancy also leaves 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
