Tammy Lois Thomas Obituary

Tammy Lois Thomas, born January 4, 1965 to Charles Ray Thomas and Evelyn Lois (Denison) Thomas; passed from this life on Sunday, May 5, 2024 after severe complications from open heart surgery. She was surrounded by family members.

A nurse by trade, Tammy was an avid reader, a music lover, a writer, and loved yellow roses and good food. She also loved to travel. She was a good cook, kept a clean home, and could be a fierce and fun friend.

Her death has brought a profound sense of loss to her family.

She is preceded in death by both her parents.

Surviving family members include Charles Baxley, Angelyn Hill, Terry L. Thomas and David Cobb; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.

To honor her wishes, there will be no traditional funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any local women's shelter.
