Virgil Alvin Johnson, Jr., age 64, passed away on January 13, 2026 at his home. He was born on November 16, 1961 in Paragould, Arkansas to Virgil Alvin Johnson, Sr. and Anna (Cornish) Johnson. Virgil enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with friends and family.

Survivors include; wife: Tammy Johnson of the home; two sons: Steven Johnson (Amanda) of Thomasville, North Carolina and Bradley Johnson (Nicole) of Palmer, Alaska; one daughter: Nicole Rivera of Paragould, Arkansas; one brother: Ernie Johnson of Piggott, Arkansas; one sister: Tersia Hubbard (Bill) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; ten grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by; his parents: Virgil Alvin Johnson, Sr. and Anna (Cornish) Johnson; and one sister: Barbara.

The family has requested private arrangements under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
