Wanda Faye Halsey Obituary
Wanda Faye Halsey, age 81, of Trumann, Arkansas, passed away on September 9, 2026. She was born on April 11, 1945, in Harrisburg, Arkansas to Joseph and Mary Barnes. She will be remembered by all who knew her for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and the warmth she brought into every room. Wanda found joy in the simple and meaningful things in life. She enjoyed reading, cooking, and spending time visiting with family and friends. Her home and her presence were often filled with conversation, laughter, and the comforting feeling of being cared for. She had a way of making others feel welcome, and her love for those around her was evident in all she did.
Wanda was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her son, Robert Wayne Arnold; sisters, Sue Carter, Sylvia Rogers, and Frances Battles; and her cherished grandchildren, Devonda and Tommy Birdsell, Monica and Michael Schales, Morgan Arnold, and Steven Arnold. She also leaves behind numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, along with a host of other family members and friends who will forever treasure her memory.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Orville Halsey, her son, Duane, and her brothers, Ed, Johnny, Sr. and Jerry; her sisters, Lucille, Martha, Glenda, Lola, Betty, and Molly.
The family will receive visitor on Monday, September 14, 2026 from 10:00a.m. until service time at Faith Funeral Service. The funeral service will begin at 11:00a.m. with Linda Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Monette Cemetery in Monette Arkansas.
