He was predeceased by: his parents, J. E. Helms and Lorene Helms (Tucker); and his brother Kenneth Helms (Bertha Haymers). He is survived by: his sons, Marty Helms and Frank Helms, Jr.; and his siblings, Johnny Helms, J. E. Helms, Jr., Lora Jackson and Judy Spearman.
