It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Lindsey (Marianna, Arkansas), born in Cherry Valley, Arkansas, who passed away on April 4, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Katy Goodman Lindsey and Hassell Lindsey; his siblings, Louise Mathes, Georgia Chaney, Carrie Devazier, Leroy and Hassell Lindsey; and his great grandchild Ben Gore.
He is survived by : his wife Ora Lee Richardson Lindsey; his children, Bobbie Jean Lindsey, Billy Gene Lindsey Sr. (Gina) of Marianna and Loretta Lindsey Sanford (Jerry) of Pearcy, AR; his grandchildren, Billy Gene Lindsey, Jr., Kim Baker (Charles), Shane Rutledge (Jessica), Lindsey Martin (Chris), Kris Sanford (Crystal), Jenna Green (Mike), Heidi Pippenger (William) and Kasey Sanford Rowland; and his brother James Wilburn Lindsey. He is also survived by twenty three great-grandchildren and twenty five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 5th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Roller-Citizens Funeral Home (621 W Chestnut St, Marianna, AR 72360). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First United Pentecostal Church of Marianna (586 W Main St, Marianna, AR 72360).
