She was predeceased by: her mother Brenda Joyce Rice Greenwood; and her brother Kenneth Wayne Rice. She is survived by: her sons, James David Palmer (Lindsey) of Marianna and Steven Wayne Palmer (Kim) of Mount Vernon, AR; her father James O. Rice (Linda) of Edmondson, AR; and her siblings, Melissa Thompson Ingold (Bodie) of Marianna, AR and James Douglas Rice (Laura Ann) of Holly Grove, AR..
In 2021, Brenda contracted Covid-19 and was forced to retire.
